Dr. Brommelhoff earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with a subspecialty in clinical aging, from the University of Southern California. Her dissertation investigating depression as a prodromal feature of dementia was funded by a National Research Service Award granted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She went on to complete her pre-doctoral internship at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA, where she remained to complete a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology. She also earned an MPH, with a concentration in psychiatric epidemiology and chronic disease (e.g., cardiovascular disease, cancer) epidemiology, from Yale University. Dr. Brommelhoff specializes in adult and geriatric neuropsychologial assessments to evaluate the cognitive changes associated with mild cognitive impairment/dementia, ADHD, and other neurological conditions (e.g., traumatic brain injury, stroke), as well as the assessment of individuals with co-morbid psychiatric conditions (including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia).
