Dr. Duncanson completed her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology through the Neuropsychology Track at Suffolk University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) which included assessment of both children and adults/geriatrics as well as a rotation conducting safety assessments in the Emergency Department. She completed two years of post-doctoral training in lifespan neuropsychology at the Harvard-Partners Consortium. Here, she trained in adult and geriatric assessment at Brigham and Women’s Center for Brain/Mind Medicine and in pediatric assessment at MGH’s Psychology Assessment Center. She is currently an Instructor at Harvard Medical School as well as the Director of Neuropsychology at MGH Chelsea HealthCare Center where she provides neuropsychological evaluations to a diverse underserved community comprised largely of refugees, asylum seekers, and first and second-generation immigrant families. She also runs a neuropsychology training program for pre-doctoral students. Her clinical expertise includes assessment of individuals with autism spectrum disorders, learning and intellectual disabilities, brain tumors, stroke, dementia syndromes, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injuries. Her research interests include investigation of cognitive predictors of driving safety, evaluating improvements in cognition following therapeutic interventions, and enhancing diagnostic accuracy of neuropsychological measures in diverse populations.
