Dr. Appleman earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Boston University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the VA Boston Healthcare system and a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial (ENRM) Veterans Hospital in Bedford, Massachusetts. Her clinical expertise includes neuropsychological assessment of adults presenting with a wide variety of neurological, neurodevelopmental, and neuropsychiatric conditions, and she has a special interest in working with older adult populations in clinical and research settings. Dr. Appleman’s current research interests involve incorporating telehealth technologies into assessment and intervention for successful cognitive aging and the early identification of neurodegenerative disease. She is a member and former student board member of the Massachusetts Neuropsychological Society. She is also a member of APA’s Division 40 (Society for Clinical Neuropsychology) and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.
