Amy Peters, Ph.D.



Clinical/Forensic Neuropsychologist

Dr. Peters received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she specialized in lifespan neuropsychological assessment. She completed her predoctoral clinical internship within the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and a two year post-doctoral clinical and research fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Psychology Assessment Center, which both focused on adult and geriatric assessment. She is currently a faculty member at MGH and Harvard Medical School, where she conducts research using neuroimaging to determine how immune dysregulation affects cognition and mood in psychiatric illness. This research is currently funded by the National Institute of Mental Health. Her clinical expertise includes neuropsychological assessment of adults with mild cognitive impairment or neurodegenerative conditions, acquired brain injuries, and other neurological conditions. She also assesses adults and adolescents with learning or intellectual disabilities, ADHD, concussion, or psychiatric illness.
