Dr. Fasano completed his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at La Salle University. There he benefitted from a strong generalist foundation in the practice of clinical psychology across the lifespan, with particular emphasis around child clinical and pediatric psychology as well as the assessment and treatment of emotion regulation disorders including borderline personality disorder. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in pediatric neuropsychology and pediatric psychology. There he provided neuropsychological assessments and treatment in various outpatient clinics as well as inpatient hospital and rehabilitation settings. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School where he obtained extensive training providing comprehensive evaluations for children and adolescents with various medical/neurological, genetic, neurodevelopmental, and psychiatric concerns. Dr. Fasano works from a neurodevelopmental systems perspective which considers your child “as a whole”; your child in various contexts (social, cultural, familial, academic and societal); the neural substrates of you child’s behavior; psychological processes; and, developmental changes in brain-behavior relationships.
